vw scirocco racecar
We were tasked with re-building Tony Lanfranchi's VW Scirocco race car from the 1980's.
A very good early bodyshell was procured and sent off to be paint stripped at EnviroStrip in Tamworth. Once it had been through their process it was delivered to the tube benders, where a rollcage was designed and bent.
The hard work then started, the shell fabrication was completed, the satin black and white paint was applied, and the bodyshell was collected by the customer to be built up.
Many of the original parts were used in the rebuild; including the suspension, brakes, instruments etc. the original shell was pensioned off in the 90's due to having an alloy roll cage.
