Healey Frogeye Sprite
Summer 2016. We had a colony of Frogeye Sprites turn up for restoration and modifications. One was a rust free but damaged example, which was to be painted Iris Blue and built into a nice standard road car. The other, was a new bodyshell which was to be painted Speedwell Blue and built into a competition based car.
Winter 2016, steady progress on the Iris Blue car. Should be on the road by the end of the year.
Speedwell Blue bodyshell will be a project for the start of 2017.
Once we started to assemble the new bodyshell we realised there were a few issues with fit and finish. Thankfully the manufacturers were very accommodating and rectified all the problems without too much fuss. We now have a near perfect Frogeye bodyshell, a rare thing indeed!

2019 - Dave has made an excellent job of building the car up into a very fine example of the breed.
