We took delivery of a rare early 1959 Mini for a full body restoration. Once the bodyshell had been stripped of the mechanicals we sent it off for media blasting. On its return we could see the extent of the corrosion and damage.

This sad looking specimen arrived as a partly stripped rolling shell.
We completed the strip and sent it off to SPL for an acid dip. The brief was to replace any rusted and damaged panels; followed by seam welding, strengthening and fitting of a 6 point bolt in roll cage.

This partially restored car arrived as a relatively rust free example of a Mk1 Mini Cooper. We were instructed to turn it into a rally car for a customer. We fitted all the new panels that were supplied and also fitted a 6 point roll cage. It was then returned to the customer for painting and final build.
