Austin Nash Metropolitan Convertible
We took possession of this 1957/58 Austin Nash Metropolitan convertible to carry out a full body and mechanical restoration. Once the mechanicals had been removed it was shipped off to Surface Processing Limited near Dudley for an acid dip. On its return we could see the true extent of the earlier repairs! Not a pretty sight...

Autumn 2019, steady progress is being made.
After many hours of measuring and head scratching things are now taking shape, looks a bit like a car again rather than a pile of metal.....
Finally after many weeks/months/years the metal work is complete.
Off to SPL for another acid dip, followed by the E-coat process, which will provide a lifetime of protection against further corrosion.
