Below are a few examples of Hillman Avengers that we have restored recently
Our customer has requested we build him a replica of Bernard Unetts' 2 door Hillman Avenger touring car which won the 1976 British Saloon Car Championship. We started with a fairly good bodyshell which we sent to SPL for acid dipping. After replacing lots of areas with good new metal we fitted a bespoke MSA spec rollcage and a few other motorsport orientated modifications.
The body shell was given its final coat of Polar White in Dec 2014. The next job will be getting all the decals designed and applied. Sticky Fingers Graphics in Nuneaton will be our first port of call for this job.
Summer 2018. Pete has entered into the Classic Touring Car Racing Club Pre 83 Championship. Fingers crossed for some good results...
The above photographs are courtesy of Neil Kirby whilst at Mallory Park circuit.

One of our customers has requested we build him a replica of the green race Avenger seen on the right of this photo BDU 441K
We sourced a nice rust free 4 door vehicle which we had acid dipped at SPL.
Autumn 2015. The body shell is now at the paint shop getting its coat of Polar White inside and underneath, along with a coat of the correct Green on the outside surfaces.
